Random Pictures!

Celeste, Me, and Kimberly at the Kasilof River

The whole fam :)

Me and Celest!

My salmon and I... we decided that this is a jack salmon because it is too small and doesn't deserve to be called a kig salmon haha. (it only weighed 7 pounds )

Russian falls where we hiked alot and saw fish jumping out of the stream to get to the top to spawn.

Pops and I at the spit, it was FREEZING!!! (and yet again, we cought nothing there)

Dallas, Kim, Me, Celeste, and Devyn. This is on a trail that we took the ranger on, it was really cool cuz in some places there were trees arched over us, it seemed like we were going through a tunnel of trees and we had to duck to dodge the branches!

NOOOOO!

So my camera fell in some water when we were fishing ='[ Dallas told me to put it into a container filled with rice and put the lid on and leave it sitting there for 24 hours. The rice is supposed to absorb all the water out of the camera. It worked! When i took the camera out, the camera eye wasn't fogged up anymore! but when i went to turn it on, it didn't come on. so i'm hoping that I just need a new battery since it got wet. So I ordered one on ebay and its supposed to be here soon! For the time being i will be using some pictures from my sisters' camera... I miss my camera!!!

Gone fishin (in the floating bathtub)

This is the lake behind our cabin, we went fishing earlier this morning and cought four pike! We kept the biggest one that Devyn caught because the hook went through the fish's mouth and throught its eyeball Mmmm... =p It was bleeding all over the boat ewww... Oh! and when we were fishing we saw Wilson the eagle that hangs around the lake and watches who ever is fishing pull in their fish. He watched us the whole time, dreaming of eating our big, juicy fish.

Pretty Sunset On the Way Home From Homer

The Spit

So we went fishing a couple weeks ago at a fishing hole in Homer we stayed there for about 4-5 hours, and this is all we cought. NOTE TO SELF: never go there again!

Sunset at 10 p.m.?!

It is so PRETTY up here! I LOVE it!

This is Georgia, she likes to hang around our yard and eat all the trees. She previously had two babies, but the last time we saw her, she only had one. She also had a huge gash on the side of her shoulder which was most likely from her trying to protect her babies from a hungry bear. Unfortunetly, she lost and the bear took her other babie (which was the weaker one because it was still learning how to walk properly and it was still a little wobbly). But the reason moose have two babies at a time is one is for the bears to eat and the other is survive and grow up.

Home sweet Home

The plane ride to Alaska took a total of six hours! I got really bored and started taking some pictures, haha and bryson was out just about the whole ride there!

The whole ride there it was really cloudy, but when we got close to where we were going to land, it started clearing up so i hurried and took a picture of the snowy mountains.
This is on the car ride to Soldatna, where the cabin is.
